Forgotten Photos: Celebration Supper

Part two of my celebration supper! So we started out at a tapas bar, and then we headed to Aroma for drinks, supper, then more drinks. We started out with a loaded caesar which was AMAZING. Caesars are the best ever Canadian drink... and they took this one over the top with adding all sorts of goodies to be eaten with it. So so so good.

For supper I had a steak and king crab legs... mmm my mouth is watering just thinking about it. Then we had all sorts of drinks and everything too.

It was a really wonderful way to celebrate my being done my university degree.

Forgotten Photos: Celebration Tapas and Beer

While my parents and I were moving me back home, we went out and celebrated my graduation a few nights! This night was the most spectacular. We started out by going to a tapas bar called Duck Duck Goose, then we later went out for supper - the supper photos will come next post!

Duck Duck Goose is a really small place, that has the most wonderful decor, food, and drink options. We all had a couple beer, and shared small servings of grilled haloumi, duck poutine, and scallop ceviche. Everything was really wonderful. I had been there a few times, but it was my parens first time there and they were really impressed by it.

I hope you enjoy the photos!

Forgotten Photos: Last Day of 2012

It's time to unload my memory card and start posting some of my old photos. These photos are from a breakfast that my boyfriend and I went for in Saskatoon on New Year's Eve. It's a quaint, lovely little place called Poached. Our food was incredible, as always, but unfortunately I didn't photograph any of it. Here's our coffee, tea, water, and flowers!

I hope you enjoy the photos!

L'Oreal Infallible Gel Eyeliner Review

It's been over a month since my last post! I've really missed blogging, but it seems harder and harder to manage all the time. I moved back in with my parents at the end of December, and it has been quite an adjustment. I started working too - an amazing job at my local art gallery with really great people - and because it's winter I leave for work before sunrise and return home after sunset. It makes achieving outfit photos nearly impossible! I also don't have a decent place in my parents house to photograph. I think I'm going to get one of my coworkers to start taking photos for me though. I'm really going to appreciate that!

Anyway: onto the review. I picked this up the other day from the drugstore after I grew tired of my beloved liquid eyeliner by L'Oreal. I have never owned the MAC Blacktrack Fluidline gel eyeliner, but I have used my sister's a few time and really loved it. I saw this L'Oreal one, andI started wondering if it would make a good dupe. I bought it in Blackest Black.

I tried it out today, and I am really in love with it already. It comes with its own little brush, which I thought made for some good value, although I had a lot of trouble using the brush today - you can probably tell that my line isn't that smooth. The formula of the gel liner is so nice though! It has a really dark, creamy, and rich colour and texture, and the lasting power is pretty amazing. I put some on my arm before I had a shower just to test the formula before putting it on my eyes, and it took a bit of a scrub in the shower for it to come off. It doesn't smudge one little bit... Such a nice consistency.

I'll definitely be repurchasing this when I'm done with it! Have you tried this? What did you think about it?
