I received my first Glossybox this morning! I'm pretty happy with everything I received. The moisturizing lip balm in the lipstick container is REALLY nice. I also quite like the perfume bottle, but I might pass it off to my mother who would likely enjoy the scent more than I do.

The packaging is really nice and elegant. I quite like the box, and the subdued colour is a nice change from Glymm.

I decided to unsubscribe from my Glymm and Luxe box subscriptions, because I just can't justify paying up the $40/month on products that I don't always use. I'll stay subscribed to Glossybox for one more month, and then I'll decide.

I love my monthly beauty boxes though!! So maybe instead of deactivating all of my subscriptions I'll just get a job instead?!

I've been wearing this dress quite a bit lately... I just like how I can make it more edgy by pairing it with leather, or more soft, subdued, and feminine by wearing it with a cardigan and some ballet flats. I love the colour!

It's been quite a busy week - I've been all over the province it seems - and I've definitely added quite a few kilometers to my car...

Just a casual every day look here! I bought the denim shirt off ebay a few weeks ago and it is seriously turning into one of my favourite pieces of my wardrobe! It is so versatile and you can wear it with absolutely anything.

I've kind of turned into an ebay junkie... there SO MUCH TO BUY and you can find such good deals. Love love love it.

I need to figure something out with my hair. Either I need to let it grow out or figure out a big change for it... it's just annoying at this length. What do you think I should do?

I'm longing for the days of summer when there are so many hours of daylight. I can't wait to start being able to hang out with my friends, drinking delicious drinks, and sitting on rooftop patios in different pubs around the city.

My sister just booked an all-inclusive trip with her friend today, and she started asking me what she should bring along... which is how I got all nostalgic for summer - then felt like trying on some summery clothes. 

Sorry for the REALLY MESSY HAIR! I don't know what happened!!! I must have shook it just before taking the photos. Yikes!

THE RIGHT ONE CAME ALONG

Here are a few of the purchases I so irresponsibly made Saturday... I rarely wear colour, so the scarf is great for adding a splash of colour to anything I decide to put on. I love it already, and it's lightweight enough to bring me into spring and cool summer nights.

I went on Monday to go drop off resumes at a few stores, but I haven't heard back from any of them yet, which is pretty unfortunate. I need a job! And... if I must say so myself... my resume is pretty killer. ;) So I have no idea what's wrong with people!!!

I'm going to Regina tomorrow - it's where my sister lives and it's her birthday today! - and we're going to a beer/wine/spirits tasting festival. I'm going to try and keep myself under control, because my sister said that it's waaay too easy to drink too much there! ha ha! Since she is the birthday girl I'll let her be the one who gets a little crazy.
